The ball mill is an important grinding equipment in cement, metallurgy, mine, power plant and other industries. Gear side drive is an important part of its weight, volume, cost has a great proportion in the whole machine, and its work efficiency has an important impact on the normal work of the ball mill. However, during the working process of the mill, the gear transmission failure is a prone to malfunction, mainly to analyze the reasons for the failure of gear transmission.
The failure form of the ball mill gear is shown as the following cases: transition wear, abrasive wear, pix and wheeled break and other forms. The cause of the gear transmission failure is as follows:
1) Working environment and lubrication status
Due to working conditions, the ball grid is relatively poor, the dust particles in the air are more, and the sealing condition is poor. In terms of lubrication, artificial regular refueling is used, so these problems can occur in the gear: Insufficient oil, and the gear parallel segmentation is poor, and the metal surface is susceptible to dry friction causes transition wear.
2) The coincidence
The time in which the gear deputy teeth bearing load in the transmission is greatly extended, which is an important cause of the gear wear too fast. The reduction in the degree will inevitably cause the gear side gap, so that the floats and dust in the air and the dust are more likely to enter the engagement surface of the gear parallel, causing abrasive particle wear.
3) Tooth surface contact fatigue intensity
There is a stress on the gear. When the top of the gear enters the engagement state, the surface layer forms the original crack under excess equivalent contact shear stress. During the gear operation, the high pressure oil wave generated by the contact pressure enters crack at very high speed, which produces a powerful fluid impact on the crack wall; at the same time, the gear side surface can be closed, so that the oil pressure in the crack is further Elevated, and forced cracks to expand in the vertical depth direction and the tooth surface direction, and the material is detached from the tooth surface to form a pixel.
4) When the root bending fatigue intensity
After a gear runs for a period of time, the axis of the pinion axis and the ball mill may become incapable, and the gear is engaged into partial contact, and the gear is connected to the whole teeth. Uniform, gear shafts easily produce bending and twisting deformation, thereby displays uneven distribution along the load edge width direction; on the other hand, the material tissue is uneven, there is a slag, aperture, and hard particles, a surface or a secondary layer. The stress is too large, and the breakdown is produced.
